Anglers report slower fishing

Flows from the dam are about 215 cfs below the dam.. Anglers can check current here.

Anglers report slower fishing this year but recent sampling has shown there are plenty of brown trout out there.

There are currently some nice PMD hatches happening in the late afternoons and evenings.

ODFW is using a tagging study to evaluate brown trout distribution and movement in the Owyhee River tailwater this year. If you catch a tagged fish please report it here. Green tags must be removed to receive the reward, yellow tags can be left in the fish, just record the number and report the river reach where you caught the fish.
