Please be aware Smith River below Sisters Creek and North Fork Smith below Bridge 10open for catch-and-release only for trout. Above these locations it is open for retention.
Smallmouth bass and striped bass are being caught in the tidewater sections. There are no harvest limits on any bass in the Smith River. There is also good access for angling since the Smith River Road follows the mainstem most of the time.
