Mouth to Pelton Dam
Salmon fly and stonefly hatches are slowing down, but warm weather at the end of this week might yield some hatches. In addition to dry fly fishing, nymph fishing can still be very good this time of year.
Benham Falls to Little Lava Lake
The Upper Deschutes River above Benham Falls reopened May 22. Anglers report excellent fishing the headwaters reach for redband trout, brook trout, and mountain whitefish and excellent brown trout fishing in the Wickup Tailwater reach of the Deschutes River.
