Anglers report good trout fishing at Lava Lake. Recent ODFW sampling indicated good numbers of large rainbow trout in the 20-24-inch range. Fly anglers report catching fish on balanced leeches while spinning tackle anglers report success trolling spoons and with bait. Open to fishing all year.
