Trout fishing in the lakes is open year-round

The main lake temperature was around 64 degree this past weekend. Most of the largemouth bass have spawned and have moved out away from the very shallow water. Look for fish along the shoreline next to cover like submerged logs and deeper weedline edges.

Trout fishing in rivers and streams open on May 22. Trout angling is restricted to artificial lures and flies in streams and river above tidewater. Trout fishing in the lakes is open year-round.
