The wild coho fishery on the Nestucca basin closed after Oct. 15. There will be no retention of wild coho allowed for the remainder of 2022.

The Nestucca may be past peak for the fall Chinook run, but is known to get a fair number of late fish and there should still be opportunity throughout the fishery for next few weeks. It’s still early for winter steelhead on the Nestucca, which really kicks off in December, but there could be the odd fish around. REMINDER: First bridge is the deadline for fall Chinook fishing on the Nestucca. Elk Creek is the deadline for all fishing (trout and steelhead) on the Upper Nestucca, and it is closed to all fishing upstream of that point.

River levels and predictions for the Nestucca are available here.

The Little Nestucca will have fall Chinook available throughout the fishery, although we are most likely past the peak of the run.

Three Rivers has some fall Chinook available as well, but also probably past the peak of the run.

Cutthroat trout fishing closed on Oct. 31. It will reopen May 22, 2023.
