The Madison River in the park has not really turned on yet. Sporadic PMD and BWO emergences will bring up some nice fish however we have not seen epic hatches yet. Evening White miller Caddis are strong now too so be ready.

The Firehole River is fishing very well now. Pale Morning Dun hatches have been incredible on the entire length of the river. A few Flavs (small western green drakes) are coming off in selected areas near Fountain Flats Drive as well as green drakes so be prepared. White miller, Glossosoma and Hydrosyche caddis emergences furnish fine rises most afternoons when conditions are warm and calm.
