The Wilson is low and clear, and fishing has slowed. There are hatchery and wild steelhead (catch and release only for wilds) throughout the basin but the conditions will be challenging, although there are still a few being caught. If you do decide to target the Wison River, light line and subtle, dark colored, terminal presentations may up the odds of success. In addition, low water conditions are a good time to break out the plugs or hardware (spoons or spinners) and try to entice a territorial bite. The lower river is mostly a drift boat fishery but there is plenty of bank access higher up off Highway 6. Last updated

Kilchis River: The Kilchis will remain low and clear for another week
Nehalem River: The lower Nehalem mainstem is still in decent shape this week
Nehalem River- North Fork: The North Fork Nehalem is going to stay low and clear again this week
Nestucca River: There are still hatchery and wild steelhead available in the Nestucca River
Three Rivers: Three Rivers will be very low and clear this week
Trask River: The Trask will stay on the low side again this week but will remain fishable
