We have received a few good reports of striped bass being caught in the lower sections. Anglers start steelhead fishing in November in the lower sections.
The Umpqua River is closed to all salmon fishing including hatchery Chinook and coho fishing as of August 25. The wild fall Chinook quota was reached in mid-August.
