What ice is here should also be considered unsafe with some open water for shore fishing, though with the projected cooler temps that may disappear.  There is an aerator to cut down on winter mortality and due to the aerator, don’t expect safe ice here at all, even if the temperatures fall.   Anglers should use the same presentations as at South Fork.
